The basis of "KER-Avtomatika" origination was formed when main specialists from "KazEnergoNaladka" (Kazakhstan) headed by V.A.Arapov, Automated Process Control System Department Chief, started working in Engineering Centre "Energoprogress" (Russia). In the course of time the highly qualified experts developed into the largest subdivision of Engineering Centre "Energoprogress" (Thermal Process Automated Control Service) and in 2002 this subdivision became an independent enterprise "KER-Avtomatika".

The company was awarded with a special diploma at the competition of effective power equipment and technologies in Republic of Tatarstan.
