Automated Process Control System of gas-turbine plant

• Kazan Thermal Power Plant-1, Automated Process Control System of 50MW gas-turbine plant based on "Ovation" hardware and software (Emerson).  

 

• "Nizhnekamsk-Neftekhim", OJSC, Data collection and transfer system of 75MW gas-turbine plant.

 

• Lida Thermal Power Plant, Lida (Belarus), Automated Process Control System of 25MW gas-turbine plant based on "Ovation" hardware and software (Emerson).  


 

Purpose:

 

Gas-turbine control system is designed for control of all gas-turbine plant components: gas-turbine power plant, waste heat boiler, booster gas compressor, and electric part of gas-turbine plant.
Thus, unified approach to decision of all scope of tasks on gas-turbine plant management is achieved.

 

The system provides:

 

• Unit automatic startup with connection to consumer’s network;
• Improvement in control quality;

• Improvement of technical and economic parameters;
• Improvement of working conditions of operating personnel.

 

Functions of:

 

• Remote control;
• Self-regulation of process parameters with defined descriptive adjectives;
• Fuel regulator control in gas-turbine power plant;
• Functional grouped control (startup of gas-turbine power plant with connection to network, startup of booster gas compressor);
Informational functions:
• Quantity of I/O physical links – 2000;
• Protections and interlocks that have automatic I/O to operation and exclude wrong actions of operating personnel.
